ASFINAG: Autobahnen- und Schnellstrassen-Finanzierungs-Aktiengesellschaft. The Austrian company responsible for motorway financing and operation.
Autobahn: Austrian motorway (prefix A). All require a valid vignette for vehicles up to 3.5t.
Schnellstrasse: Austrian expressway (prefix S). Also requires a vignette.
Streckenmaut: Section toll charged on specific motorway sections (e.g. Brenner A13, Tauern A10) in addition to the vignette.
GO-Box: Electronic toll device required for vehicles over 3.5t. Not a vignette.
Kraftfahrzeug (Kfz): Motor vehicle. Vignette applies to all Kfz up to 3.5t gross weight.

Vignette Types

10 consecutive days. €9.90 (car). Ideal for short trips and transit.

2 calendar months. €29.00 (car). For extended stays.

~14 months. €96.40 (car). Best for residents.
